With more than 300 sunny days per year and an average annual temperature of 83.7°F, Tucson’s climate is warm and inviting year-round.

Tucson, Arizona, boasts a warm desert climate with more than 300 days of sunshine annually, making it an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts.

Winters are – to sum it up – perfect, with average highs in the mid-60s to low 70s. Summers are hot, sure – we’re in the Sonoran Desert, after all – but “it’s a dry heat,” our monsoons are spectacular, and Mount Lemmon and its pine tree-covered peak is just a short jaunt away.

Tucson is cooler than Phoenix and gets more rain. Whether you're hiking in the cooler winter months or enjoying the region’s vibrant desert landscapes year-round, Tucson's pleasant weather offers endless opportunities for adventure.

Check out some of our favorite ways to soak up the sun.
